Tools at the Ventura Bar, DH PH, Ventura Lambrate, Milan, 2012

The production house of Maarten Baas, Den Herder Production House, has widened its horizon and is now also producing pieces for other designers, like Bertjan Pot and Fabien Dumas.

During the Milan Design Week 2012, DHPH will collaborate with Ventura Lambrate to create the Ventura Bar. The bar will be furnished with pieces of the new collection, which are all available for sale.

Tools Desk Light and Tools Clamp Light are ready-made lighting objects, an hybrid between a lamp and a ruler. The design features an arm made from an extendible wooden ruler making it adjustable, in combination with already existing lighting components. This incomparable mix of materials into a narrative design is an invocation to poetry. The poetry of making, of collage, of prototyping and the poetry of sustainability.

The series exist of the Tools Desk Light, a stand alone desk light.

The Tools Clamp Light, where the base is made of a casted wood clamp
The Tools Chandelier “Dear Ron”, where the clamps are mounted on a frame. The frame is mounted to the ceiling and can be adjusted in height. Besides these models we can make Tools Custom Lights where the lights are customized to specification.

Al pieces come with the 14W fluorescent light, as this is the shade as well.
